A barking, growling, sneezing, snorting, ear flapping, toenail tapping tribal celebration of and by dogs in their own language.
NOTES
No, it’s not doggies cutely barking “Jingle Bells” filtered through your local keyboard whiz.
What is it? It’s tribal music of and by the canine tribe, a rollicking, rude, and sometimes introspective celebration of a dog’s world in their own words. Our lead storyteller (Rocky) weaves his tales (no, not tails) over a barking, growling, howling, sneezing, ear flapping, toenail tapping, toy squeezing, collar shaking palette mixed with other dog sized “instruments” (tennis ball, bare foot in bathtub, rolling plastic bucket, rubber band banjo, antique clock chime, chain collar slides, toy Casio SK-1 sampler) in a song structure that we humans can relate to. We have to imagine the exact words (ever listen to “Louie Louie”?) but the vibe is clear, giving us a small window into the canine point of view.
